Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence in Hispanic Ministry

On Friday, September 27, the 15th Annual Noche de Gala, celebrating Hispanic leadership in the Archdiocese of Chicago will take place at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. Cardinal Francis George will be there to celebrate and honor this year’s theme “15 Years of Forming Families in Faith”, in keeping with the Archdiocesan Strategic Plan focusing on Strong Catholic Families.

The goal of the Gala is to celebrate Hispanic Leadership at both the parish and Archdiocesan levels. Special guests include Rev. John P. Smyth, who will receive the Blessed Pope John XXIII Award in recognition of priestly dedication to Hispanic ministry.

Parishes are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity to thank and acknowledge their local leadership and to honor the people that have made a difference in the Archdiocese.

The ticket price of $ 75 is a great value and makes this celebration more accessible to everyone.  Free parking and open bar are included. Entertainment and dancing follow the awards ceremony.

For more information, please call Fr. Marco Mercado, Archbishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry, 312-534-1080 or visit www.nochedegalachicago.com.
