Description: Facilitates the daily responsibilities and functions of the Archdiocesan Bank as they relate to serving the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Parishes, Schools and Agencies in a savings and loan capacity. The Bank is also engaged in providing financial management services for capital projects, including managing payouts to the established budgets, and within the guidelines of the approved project plan. Position:  Legal Secretary
Description: Receives, screens and processes telephone messages. Records voice mail message for timely information. Opens, sorts, prioritizes and distributes mail. Maintains Attorney’s calendar and, Calendars court dates and other important dates. Provides Attorney with calendar/tickler each morning. Coordinates meetings as needed. Types and formats correspondence prepared by Attorneys or Legal Administrator. Follows office procedure for efficient document and record management. Serves as support to Attorneys on all files. Greets visitors and announces them to attorney. Drafts/formats/edits legal documents. Responds to telephone, correspondence and in-person inquiries from parishes and agencies regarding routine legal issues, and reports to Attorney on any such information given to parishes or agencies. Conducts inquiries related to legal matters and reports to Attorney. Assist other team members when possible on an as needed basis.

Description: The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing a central payroll function responsible for approximately 5,000 staff at 200 individual locations, supervising and providing leadership to a payroll operations team of 6 administrators and 4 accountants. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate and timely payroll processing, overseeing the collection of payroll data from the locations and the processing of payroll. This includes oversight of the team processing journal entries, reconciliations, and special check requests.
