The Construction Manager will respond to Parish needs regarding assistance to ascertain acceptable standards for occupancy of all Parish campus buildings in compliance for construction with building codes and ordinances. (Federal, State, City and Regulatory)
This person will interact with other departments including, but not limited to, Risk Management, Legal, Real Estate, Parish Operations and Accounting to assist in resolving Parish problems relative to construction.
This person will serve as a liaison between The Pastoral Center and all Parishes to insure timely and accurate communication of all pertinent issues.
This person will represent The Archdiocese of Chicago in all matters relating to physical plant maintenance and construction.
Looking for someone with a BA Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management; Must have at least 10 years of Architectural, Engineering or Construction related experience; Must have knowledge of Architecture, Structures, Means and Methods of Construction, Environmental Systems and Site Planning and Design; Must have thorough knowledge and experience the following areas: MEP design and repairs, Boiler replacement and repairs, tuck pointing and masonry repairs, roofing systems replacement and repairs; This person must be reliable, amicable, understanding, even-tempered and able to efficiently communicate with the many different personalities that comprise The Archdiocese of Chicago
