Catholic Relief Services is the official international humanitarian aid agency of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) that represents U.S. Catholics through its work. The mission of CRS is to engage the Catholic community in cultivating a strong sense of global solidarity and awareness of our brothers and sisters abroad through CRS Rice Bowl, Fair Trade, Catholics Confront Global Poverty, etc. This position would be largely focused on recruiting and training strong leaders for the CRS Advisory Committee and other subcommittees, as well as helping grow the many programs under CRS in Catholic parishes and Catholic Schools.
Committed to and interested in human rights, social justice and global issues; Experience in relationship building and strong conversational skills; Possess strong written and verbal communication, as well as computer skills; Well-organized, dependable, and responsible; Possess a proactive approach to ministry and demonstrate creative capabilities for outreach and communication; Self-motivated and are able to multitask while paying careful attention to detail; Familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching is preferred; Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point;
