Assists the director of the OFCYM in the coordination of Adult Faith Formation in the Archdiocese. Directs Adult Faith Formation leaders in pursuit of professional development leading to archdiocesan approval and certification. Implements elements of a systematic, balanced and comprehensive plan for adult catechesis, parish leaders and catechists for the RCIA, Adult Confirmation, and pre-baptismal catechesis and sacramental processes. Oversees and coordinates the Social Media, Publications and Marketing initiatives of OFCYM. Promotes inclusion and participation of people of various culture and languages in all programs and events. Monitors the implementation of Archdiocesan policies.
Practicing Catholic and active member of a parish community. Masters Degree or significant graduate work in Religious Education, related field or the equivalent. 3 years’ experience catechetical leadership or adult faith formation, marketing and publications. Excellent verbal communication, teaching and group facilitation skills as well as writing and editing skills. Significant organizational, administrative, program planning and development, and marketing skills. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publishing software and Social Media. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized, able to multi-task and plan ministry events with others in a shared workspace. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and ability to travel in one’s own vehicle to various archdiocesan locations.
