Serving a key role in the Benefits group, this position is responsible for ensuring data integrity across several systems (payroll, benefits, HRIS), and using this data to contribute to develop of strong compensation system which is critical to attraction and retention of staff. Responsible for improving the accuracy/completeness of HR data and maximizing its usefulness for administration of Human Resource programs including benefits, HR tracking, position classification/salary grades, and organizational planning. Maintains setup and coding of HR database (Lawson) including fields such as job titles, department and process levels, etc. Takes initiative to identify areas for improvement in database management and recommends improvements in processes. Generates and audits various standard and ad hoc personnel reports.
Expert data analysis skills, using MS Excel; HRIS/Payroll system report writing experience; understanding of Compensation systems; experience in salary survey participation and analysis; strong written and verbal communication skills; Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources or related function; Action oriented approach; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - related field of equivalent work experience; Understanding of the Catholic Church structure is preferred; Staff are expected to demonstrate respect for Catholic teaching and principles.
