Requirements: |
Master’s Degree in Religious Education, related field or the equivalent with adult formation specialization or certificate. 3 years’ experience in catechetical leadership, RCIA or general adult faith formation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Teaching and group facilitation skills. Significant organizational, administrative, program planning/development and marketing skills. Excellent computer skills working in a network environment using Microsoft Word and Power Point. |

Description: |
Assists the Director of the OFCYM in the general and overall management of the Vicariate and may be delegated by the director to function for the director in specific circumstances. Actively assists parish catechetical leadership in assessment and evaluation of parish catechesis. Directs catechetical leaders in pursuit of professional development leading to Archdiocesan approval and certification. Implements elements of a systematic, balanced, and comprehensive plan for adult catechesis forming parish leaders and catechesis for the RCIA and the Adult Confirmation. Promotes inclusion and participation of people of various cultures and languages in all programs and events. Monitors the implementation of the Archdiocesan policies and procedures. |
