Requirements: |
Solid understanding of Windows and IP networking protocols, configurations and diagnostics. Two or more years experience administering an NT or Novell LAN environment. Ability to transport and install computers and peripherals. Ability to relate technical issues in layman’s terms. Ability to install, administer, and troubleshoot workstations. Ability to perform basic LAN operations and PC and network hardware instillation and support. Ability to evaluate hardware and software for suitability to purpose and integrate applications. Possess aptitude to learn advanced software packaging and distribution processes. Ability to perform site surveys, develop site documentation and coordinate installation of 3 party services with site personnel. |

Description: |
Responsible for delivery of networked information services and telecommunication support at main office and remote sites. Primary focus is on network infrastructure and end user and workstation level support. Ensures that all network, Internet, application, file and print server services are kept at optimum service levels. Establishes and maintains network services, including secure VPNs or other secure wide area connections to the main office.
