The recent clustering of two well established Catholic parishes, St. Sebastian and St. Catherine, in Milwaukee, has created an exciting full-time opportunity for a newly created, shared position, designated as the Cluster Administrator. Beginning in spring of 2014, this person will join the staffs of both parishes, seeking to develop a solid collaborative ministry between the two in areas of administrative needs. The Cluster Administrator is responsible for ensuring, on behalf of and under the leadership of the Pastor, that the management of the parishes’ six administrative functions (finance, facility, human resources, advancement, technology and legal) is conducted in accordance with the highest standards of competence and responsibility.

Qualifications include a well-developed Vatican II sense of mission and collaboration; an ability to work effectively within a team concept; strong communication skills; a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of accounting or finance with a master’s level preferred. A flexible work schedule that splits time between the two parishes will be mutually agreed upon. This leadership position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to participate in meetings and events. At least five years’ previous experience in a related field, including supervisory experience is expected. Successful experience implementing and administering programs is desired.
