St. Joseph Catholic Academy is a 4K through Grade 12 Catholic school system located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We are a college-preparatory, one-to-one laptop school, dedicated to extraordinary formation of all our students – academically, spiritually and socially. St. Joseph Catholic Academy is in search of a highly-motivated, energetic, dedicated and innovative educator to join our grades 6 – 12 staff in the English Department. Interested candidates should possess appropriate certification, and be willing to support a learning environment that believes all students can achieve success. Potential course responsibilities could include some of the following: • 9th grade ELA • 10th grade American Literature • 11th grade World Literature • High School Publications (supports online school newspaper and yearbook) This candidate must be willing to work closely with middle school Language Arts teachers and the AP English teacher to ensure a bridge across all grade levels in curriculum alignment and skill development. Additionally, interested candidates must demonstrate a variety of summative and formative assessments, be current in the use of digital technology in the classroom, and have a desire to work collaboratively with all teachers in our English Department.
