Description:
Hours: Part Time-14 hours per week 1/1/2015 thru 6/30/2015, working with current Building Manager. Full time effective July 1, 2015.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical functionality and safety of the facilities of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Oversees and supervises the daily activities of the maintenance staff. The two main components of the position include the ability to anticipate and perform maintenance and repair of various building systems (ie. HVAC, electrical and plumbing) and the ability to effectively schedule and work with staff and volunteers.
Requirements:
High school graduate plus technical education or equivalent; minimum 5 years experience in an industrial maintenance related field. Trade license or college a plus. Valid driver’s license.
Must have a functional understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Must possess and demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability and knowledge of gauges, measurements, proper use of tools, and blueprint reading.
Highly motivated well organized, good problem solving skills, effective as a team builder and able to coordinate multi and changing priorities.
Be able to lift/push 60 lbs. Be available for on-site emergencies, and able to work after hours as needed.
Must be computer skilled in Word and Excel.
