Description:
St. Peter Parish is looking for a Director of Religious Education who will oversee the 1st through 8th grade religious education programming, Children's Liturgy of the Word, and sacramental preparation for parents and children for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. The Director will recruit and form catechists, plan and execute grade level retreats as well as being a resource for our parish school. The ideal candidate is interactive with the parish community and its organizations and a visible presence in parish celebrations.
Requirements:
A Masters in Theology, Religious Education or related field, minimum of five years experience in Catholic parish level religious education programming, good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy is a must. Willingness to work evenings and weekends and above all a person of faith - committed to the Gospel values.
