Description:
St. Hilary Parish is seeking a full-time Director of Religious
Education who will be responsible for the parish Pre-school to eighth
Grade and Sacramental Preparation program. This position also involves
the recruitment, supervision and formation of catechists for effective
echoing of the faith as instructed by Archdiocesan and National
standards. The individual should have good communication skills and be able to
work effectively with others especially with parish pastor, parish staff, school staff and volunteers. The candidate must enjoy working with parents; challenging and inspiring them to become basic ecclesial families.
As a member of the church, the DRE is present in the Sunday services
giving example of living a Sacramental life for our young people to see.
Giving presence on Sunday becomes an invite, a part of witnessing in

Requirements:
3 or more years of experience;
Bachelor of Religious Education
