Description:
Guided by the Catholic School Teachings, the Director will research the human needs of the community , develop programs to address those needs, recruit and retain volunteers to assist in bringing these outreach efforts to life. In addition, St. Cletus is seeking a professional, compassionate person of faith to oversee and promote existing ministries, including Food Pantry, Giving Tree annual Advent outreach, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Respect Life, Employment Ministry , Adult Service Volunteer Group, Interfaith Community Partners, Lenten Almsgiving, Domestic Violence Outreach. This person will serve as point of contact with parishioners and community members requiring assistance and will maintain and initiate relationships/partnerships with local community service agencies. Requirements:
Bachelor degree.The ideal person will have a background in Christian service, outreach and non-profits, whether as a professional or as a volunteer. Excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent organizational and time management skills; demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with a high degree of integrity; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus; Able to maintain a high level of quality of work and attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Flexibility a must.
