Description:
Able to devote time and attention to teens of a large parish community in north Chicago and neighboring suburbs. Experience in offering formation for both teens and adults, networking with other parishes as well as the Vic II coordinator to further develop an existing comprehensive youth program to include retreats, teen Masses , large and small group events both spiritual and social, service opportunities, mission trips and coordinate with the DRE preparing teens for Confirmation. YM will be expected to help 8th graders bridge into YM from formal religious education.
Requirements:
Practicing Catholic in good standing in home parish, experienced in working in youth ministry for at least one year, working toward certification in Religious Studies or youth ministry.
