Description:
St Julian Eymard Church of Elk Grove Village, IL, a suburban parish of 1800 families, is currently seeking a Coordinator of Religious Education of 300 students. This person will be responsible, along with the pastoral staff, for developing and implementing comprehensive catechesis for children in grades K-8. This includes sacramental preparation for students and their parents in the Religious Education program, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, and other programs in collaboration with the pastoral staff as needed. This position would require a 40 hours per week on average and that the person would be available beyond the average 8:30-4:30 work day. Requirements:
Applicant must be a practicing catholic and have a DRE/CRE certificate or give evidence of equivalent preparation for the DRE/CRE profession.
