SIXTH ANNUAL "A CATHEDRAL CHRISTMAS" PROGRAM
The world famous female vocal quartet, Anonymous 4, will perform at the 6th annual “A Cathedral Christmas” program in the newly renovated Holy Name Cathedral, State and Superior Streets in Chicago. Anonymous 4 will perform “The Cherry Tree”, their new holiday program of medieval English Carols interwoven with English-influenced American sacred songs. Tickets are required and are priced from $25 to $75 and can be purchased on-line at www.holynamecathedral.org.

The second annual celebration in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Federal Plaza will take place on Saturday, December 12, at 12 p.m. with a bilingual outdoor Mass. Details

The annual Archdiocesan Posada will take place at Holy Name Cathedral, State and Superior in Chicago, beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 13. Details
FREE CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A free Christmas concert will be performed at Holy Family Parish, 1080 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 20. The concert by The City Lights Orchestra under the direction of Rich Daniels, will include both secular and religious music celebrating the Christmas season. Doors will open to the public at 2 p.m. Open seating is on a first come, first served basis. Capacity is limited and a free will offering will be accepted.

LIVE MIDNIGHT MASS FROM THE CATHEDRAL
WGN-TV, Channel 9 will broadcast Midnight Mass live on Christmas Eve from Holy Name Cathedral beginning at 12 a.m., for viewers in Chicago and the suburbs. Cardinal George will be the main celebrant. Fr. Greg Sakowitz will provide English language commentary throughout the broadcast.
WGN’s super station will carry the Mass live and WGN radio 720 AM will simulcast the Mass. The Mass will also be re-broadcast at 5 a.m. on CLTV and will be real time closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
CHRISTMAS DAY MASS ON WCIU
A pre-recorded Christmas Mass celebrated by Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, will be broadcast on WCIU, Channel 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Christmas Day. Check your local cable schedule for broadcast times outside of Chicago.
