Christ, our hope

During this week after Easter, I recall the visit a year ago of Pope Benedict XVI to our country and the fourth anniversary of his election as Bishop of Rome. The Pope during his time in the United States spoke about Christ, our hope.

No one can live without hope, but in order to hope, one has to trust. In our society, it seems people often put their trust in process, especially legal processes, rather than in principles or persons. It seems to me, however, that processes work only if the people responsible for them are trustworthy. So the question remains: whom do you trust? The answer to that question tells you where you find your hope. I hope you find your hope in Christ.
