F.Y.I.R. - For Your Information and Reflection

Frame of a “Bridge-Building” Note

In a relationship that needs mending, why not pen an invitation to healing. Use whatever words get across YOUR message. If you do reach out, don’t forget to “seal” your invitation with true, honest intention and sincerity. Here’s a script:

Frame of a “Bridge-Building” Note

“In spite of our disagreement I remain willing to meet with you:

To hear and understand the hurt and disappointment you experienced over these past days.

To apologize for what I may have contributed to your pain.

To take the opportunity to reconcile with you and to repair to some measure the hurt you have experienced.

If you are willing to accept my offer and invitation, I will look forward toward a healing experience with you…”
