The 17th Annual Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Jerusalem Lecture was delivered on March 6, 2012 at Northwestern University by guest lecturer, John L. Allen, Jr. Mr. Allen is a Senior Correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter and Senior Vatican analyst for CNN. His topic for the evening was "Insights on Trends in the Global Church and Why Jews Should Care." Francis Cardinal George opened the evening's lecture, which concluded with an audience questions and answer session.
