The Office for Lay Ecclesial Ministry offers a placement assistance program for pastoral associates as well as other parish ministry positions. The program includes -

• Service to Hiring Party
  • Guidance/ assistance to pastors and search committees from parishes and other Catholic institutions and entities on strategies in hiring pastoral associates or other members of the ministerial staff, and on how to develop advertising copies for posting on the archdiocesan website.
  • Free Web posting of job openings ( www.archchicago.org - click on Employment)
• Service to Applicant
  • Career guidance and counseling in areas such as job objectives, education or formation needs, and information on Archdiocesan scholarship programs.
  • “Current Applicants” Listing - publication of a list of current qualified applicants for ministerial positions, their ministry objectives, their education and experience.
