Chicago, IL (May 21, 2007)—On Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, when Americans across the nation gather to remember and honor those who have served their country in the military, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, will be joined by the auxiliary and retired bishops and priests of the Archdiocese in celebrating Field and church Masses at thirty-seven cemeteries in Cook and Lake counties.

The Cardinal will celebrate a Field Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the Archdiocese of Chicago’s newest cemetery, Good Shepherd Cemetery, 16201 South 104th Avenue, Orland Park. The auxiliary and retired bishops and priests of the Archdiocese will also celebrate Field and church Masses at the following locations. (All Mass times are 10:30 a.m. unless noted):
