Eternal Life Starts Now: Exploring Our Potential for Growth in Christ at St. Aloysius Church
Chicago, IL (June 20, 2007)—MISSION CHICAGO, the ongoing evangelization effort of the Archdiocese of Chicago, continues its 2007 Year of Spirituality lineup on Saturday, June 30 with English and Spanish-language versions of Eternal Life Starts Now: Exploring Our Potential for Growth in Christ at St. Aloysius Parish, 2300 W. Le Moyne St., Chicago.
The English-language session will be held at 10 a.m. and the Spanish-language version begins at 1 p.m. Fr. Scott Hebden, a Department of Systematic Theology professor at the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary, will deliver both talks.
In the early 1990’s, Fr. Hebden, who is bilingual, was on the faculty of the Evangelical Seminary of Caracas, Venezuela before serving as an associate pastor and administrator at two Archdiocesan parishes. Prior to this teaching ministry, Fr. Hebden also served as an adjunct faculty member and spiritual director for the Archdiocese’s Instituto de Liderazgo Pastoral, a ministry formation program for Hispanic laity and deacons.
