TV/RADIO PERSONALITY COLLEEN CARROLL CAMPBELL TO DELIVER
KEYNOTE AT SIXTH ANNUAL CHASTITY EDUCATION BENEFIT DINNER
Chicago, IL (November 7, 2008) – Colleen Carroll Campbell, journalist, author and TV/Radio personality, will deliver the keynote address at Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts, the Sixth Annual Chastity Education Initiative Benefit Dinner, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, at Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. Since it was initiated in 2003, the Chastity Education Initiative has served close to 100,000 teens, young adults, parents, and teachers in schools and parishes throughout the Chicago-land area.
Campbell, who at the age of 24 became the youngest member of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s editorial board, has served as a commentator on over 70 radio and television programs on networks including CNN, FOX News and PBS. A fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and author of The New Faithful: Why Young Adults Are Embracing Christian Orthodoxy, Campbell has a weekly program entitled Faith and Culture that airs on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
As he has since the event began in 2003, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, will also attend the Chastity Education Initiative Benefit Dinner and make some brief remarks.
Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts begins with a 6 p.m. reception, and will raise funds in support of programs that empower teens and young adults to embrace chastity and other healthy decisions.
