Chicago, IL (May 24, 2012) – Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago, will celebrate Mass on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, at 10:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 1400 South Wolf Road in Hillside. This year marks the 175th anniversary of Catholic Cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Field and church Masses will be celebrated at more than three-dozen of the 44 Catholic cemeteries in Cook and Lake counties. Auxiliary and retired bishops will celebrate Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the following Catholic Cemeteries:
