Sunday, July 28, 11 a.m. on ABC-7

Chicago, IL (July 25, 2013) –  The Summer 2013 edition of Sanctuary features details of the recently launched "To Teach Who Christ Is" fund-raising campaign for Catholic education and faith formation. Viewers will learn about the importance of the campaign directly from people whose lives were shaped by Catholic education. The program airs on ABC-7 on Sunday, July 28, at 11:00 am.

Sanctuary also takes viewers to the Archdiocese of Chicago's pilgrimage and prayer vigil in support of comprehensive and compassionate immigration reform. And viewers of Sanctuary will hear about year three of the Strategic Pastoral Plan, the Year of Strong Catholic Parents.

Sanctuary is the Archdiocese of Chicago's TV news magazine program that airs quarterly on ABC-7 Chicago. The program is hosted by Fr. Greg Sakowicz, pastor of St. Mary Parish in Evanston.

Sanctuary is produced by the Archdiocesan Office of Radio and Television and is taped on location throughout the Chicago area.
