It was a blessing again to have Fr. Thomas Koys from St. James at Sag Bridge to host our monthly radio program again. He gave us a wonderful history lesson about the Civil War and how we can learn from the past with our posture in the Pro-Life movement of the present. We had Pamela Suresca from Students for Life of Illinois as a welcomed guest to talk about her experience in the March for Life Pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. The college group brought two buses. Pamela also shared about their ministry in the Universities all around the Chicago land area and beyond. The Respect Life Office’s youth outreach coordinator in Raymund Pingoy was also part of the show talking about the March for Life Pilgrimage with the teens.

We are blessed to have our guest host, Fr. Thomas Koys, Pastor of St. James at Sag Bridge, join Victor Vallejo and Ray Pingoy of the Respect Life Office, for our monthly radio program.
He joins us with a great history lesson of the Civil War through the misfortunes of having bishops in the south, completely ignoring the moral issue of slavery. This gives us a warning not to repeat history in our actions, or lack there of, in standing up for human life from the very moment of conception until natural death. Abortion is a moral issue that cannot be ignored. And we need to stand up and march for life.
The monthly Respect Life program also included Maria Goldstein to promote the 2nd Annual Northwest Families March for Life in Palatine on Saturday, January 18, 2014. In addition, Ann Scheidler from the Pro-Life Action League invites all to join the March for Life in downtown Chicago on January 19th. More information can be found on www.RespectLifeChicago.org.
