Reflecting Christ's Light radio show focuses on all aspects of the Strategic Pastoral Plan in the Archdiocese of Chicago through interviews and discussions with parishioners who truly "reflect the light of Christ" in their parish and community. The show airs on the third Wednesday of each month 9:00-9:30 am on Relevant Radio 950 AM. Nancy Polacek of the Department of Parish Life and Formation hosts this program based on the Archdiocese of Chicago's Strategic Pastoral Plan. Parents Participate in Faith Sharing Events

For several years Mater Christi parish included an evening of faith sharing for the children in the Religious Education program. During the Year of Strong Catholic Parents all the parents were invited to watch their child’s presentation and stay for conversations of faith. The event grew in popularity and plans are in place to continue next year. This story will inspire you to try parent-friendly programs at your parish.
