SANCTUARY FEATURES THE PAPAL ELECTION, PEACEMAKERS WORKSHOP AND WINNING VIDEOS

The Spring 2013 edition of Sanctuary features the election of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina as our new Pontiff. Cardinal Francis George gives a first-had account at the election of Pope Francis. The program airs on ABC-7 on Sunday, April 21, at 11:30 am.

Sanctuary also takes viewers to the Blessed are the Peacemakers workshop, where Catholics discussed how the lessons of gospel non-violence can be used to help bring peace to our troubled neighborhoods. And viewers will be treated to a showing of the winning videos produced by teenagers to celebrate the importance of Sunday Mass
