Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine
The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated families and communities around the world. Finally, there is hope in the form of vaccines that have been approved by the Vatican and deemed safe and effective by federal regulators.
As a faith community concerned about the sanctity of human life, the archdiocese encourages everyone to get vaccinated for the sake of their own health and the common good.
We join the voices of many who thank our dedicated health care workers, brave first responders and essential workers, including our Catholic school educators and staff, who report to work every day and provide stability and safety to our community. We owe it to them to get vaccinated.
