Chicago, IL (May 11, 2018) – Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago, will host a 30-minute discussion on the film “Pope Francis: A Man of His Word” after a complimentary 7 p.m. film screening on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Regal Cinemas City North 1, 2600 North Western Avenue, Chicago. During the discussion, which will begin at approximately at 8:30 p.m., Cardinal Cupich will also share his personal insights about Pope Francis.

“Pope Francis: A Man of His Word” was written and directed by three-time Academy Award® nominee Wim Wenders and is a personal journey with Pope Francis rather than a biographical documentary. The film is a rare co-production with the Vatican and focuses on Pope Francis’ vision of the Church, his deep concern for the poor, his involvement in environmental and social justice issues, his call for peace in areas of conflict and his teachings on wealth inequity, materialism and the role of family.

Tickets for the complimentary screening are available on a first come, first serve basis. More information can be found by visiting https://pvm.archchicago.org/events/screening-of-pope-francis-movie.
