Cardinal Blase Cupich to Preside over the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Online Sunday Mass for this Sunday, March 22, 2020

Chicago, IL (March 20, 2020) – Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, will preside over the Archdiocese of Chicago’s online Mass for this Sunday, March 22, 2020. ABC7 Chicago will air the Mass on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The Mass will also be available online starting Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 4 p.m. at archchicago.org. All Masses are also available at YouTube.com/catholicchicago and on the Archdiocese of Chicago Facebook page.

“During this difficult time, we should explore every means to bring people together and the Holy Mass has always served as our point of reference for unity and experiencing the comforting grace of God,” said Cardinal Cupich. 

The Archdiocese of Chicago will offer online Sunday Masses from Holy Name Cathedral and online weekday Masses from St. James Chapel.

Sunday Mass from Holy Name Cathedral: (LINK)

  • Sunday Masses will be available on our website, archchicago.org, beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Sunday Mass will be available in English, Spanish and Polish. Each Sunday Mass will remain available for viewing until the following Saturday.

Weekday Masses from St. James Chapel: (LINK)

  • Daily Masses will be available on our website, archchicago.org, beginning at 10 a.m. each weekday. Those Masses will remain available for viewing until the next online Mass is celebrated
