Archdiocese of Chicago Names Timothy Dee as its First Chief Administrative Officer

Senior corporate officer will oversee administrative functions and provide additional organizational leadership

Chicago, (Jan. 11, 2023) ­-- The Archdiocese of Chicago today named Timothy Dee as its first chief administrative officer, effective January 9, 2023. Dee, a senior corporate executive has significant experience in human resources and planning. He will report to Betsy Bohlen, chief operating officer of the archdiocese and will oversee several administrative functions, including human resources, stewardship and development and procurement. 

“We are excited to introduce Tim Dee as our Chief Administrative Officer,” said Betsy Bohlen, chief operating officer for the archdiocese. ”In this new role for the Archdiocese of Chicago, Tim will support my office by providing organizational leadership as we align our capabilities and practices with the size, complexity and challenges of the archdiocese and work to serve our parishes and the People of God.”

Dee has 30 years’ experience as a trusted advisor and partner to organizational leaders. Most recently, he served as chief administrative officer (CAO) for Panduit Corporation, a leading provider of industrial electrical and network infrastructure. As CAO for Panduit Corporation, Dee led human resources, planning, risk management and other functions. He had previously led the human resources function for Panduit, including talent development, leadership assessment and culture-building.

Dee earned both his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Loyola University Chicago. He is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Loyola University Business School Mentors program.
