Archdiocese of Chicago’s Hispanic Advisory Board Launches a Series of Talks on Religious Vocations

Cicero, IL (July 7, 2017) - Fr. Adan Sandoval, Director of the Archdiocesan Hispanic Advisory Board, along with members of the Hispanic Advisory Board, will host a series of Spanish language talks targeted at Hispanic men and women ages 18-34, who have an interest in exploring a religious vocation. The talks will be held at Our Lady of the Mount Parish in Cicero, IL, 2400 S. 61st Ave., on July 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 7 pm to 9 pm.

The talks are titled, “Abre tu Corazon a Jesus,” or “Open your heart to Jesus,” and explore the following questions: “Do I have a yearning to be an apostle of Jesus?”, “What is Christ asking of me?” and “What am I called to be in this life?”

In each of the 4 sessions, a priest or woman religious will share his or her personal vocational story while encouraging attendees to explore their own faith journey. Presenters will be available for a question and answer session as well as one on one conversation. Participants are welcome to attend one or all four talks.
Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Sessions are free of charge.
