Join us at the Paul Bechtold Library at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago as our Systems and Electronic Resources Librarian. You’ll lead the management of our library services platform (ALMA) and OpenAthens authentication system, ensuring seamless access to our extensive electronic resources. If you have a Master’s degree in Library or Information Science, 2 years of academic library experience, and a passion for enhancing access to knowledge, we encourage you to apply. Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA accredited institution
• 2 years of experience in an academic library using a library services platform
• Knowledge of library systems, OpenAthens and best practices for using library systems
• Knowledge of electronic resources management
• Excellent written and oral communication/ presentation skills
