Thank you for posting your parish opportunity on the Archdiocese of Chicago of website. Our new posting format improves diocesan consistency, while still allowing for local parish hiring autonomy. Your parish may more fully benefit in your selection decision since it will be drawn from a wider group of people presenting gifts and talents as the Lord has been pleased to bestow upon them. It is also the best way for current Church employees to seek new challenges or new employment following a RIF. Our employment page is one of the most frequently visited pages on the entire website!

While consultation is available from Human Resources, it is the responsibility of the parish to follow all employment practices and policies of the Archdiocese of Chicago. This includes having a job description for each position posted, obtaining references, a criminal background check, and education verification for each person hired, without regard to full-time or part-time status.
