Catholic Theological Union at Chicago, the largest Roman Catholic graduate school of theology in the United States, is seeking a Director of the Oscar Romero Program. The Director is responsible for the overall promotion and well-being of the program, for working with the Archdiocese and CTU in the recruitment and selection of qualified candidates, and for insuring the ongoing support and direction of the scholars as they pursue their program of studies and formation. The Director is responsible for all the administrative work connected with the program, all communications regarding the program, and, in accord with CTU’s procedures and programs, serves as the academic advisor to the scholars. The Director reports to the Vice President and Academic Dean and works in close collaboration with the staff at the Archdiocese of Chicago and an Advisory Board composed of representatives from CTU. In addition the Director works with the Development Office of CTU in the effort to raise funds for the program.

Description: |
The Director should hold at least a Master’s degree in theology or a related field; have an understanding of and ability to lead and coordinate processes of formation for ministry experience; have familiarity with the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Hispanic community in Chicago; have an aptitude for administrative work; enjoy working with students; and be comfortable with the mission and environment of a Catholic graduate school of theology.

Title: Development and Marketing Director

Position Overview
The Development and Marketing Director will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donor prospects to drive increased philanthropic support for Maternity B.V.M. Elementary School. The Development and Marketing Director will work closely with the Principal to devise strategies and plans to increase funding from alumni. The Development and Marketing Director is responsible for developing and fulfilling the annual budget for the school’s annual campaigns, including the Annual Fund, Foundations/Grants, Alumni Activities, and Special Events. Additionally, the Development and Marketing Director will promote the school through advertisements, social media connections, connecting with people in the community and working closely with school parents.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Alumni Relations, Annual Fund and Direct Mail Program
• Work with Principal to develop Annual Fund goals, budget, and strategy
• Produce annual appeal letters and donor acknowledgement letters
• Along with Principal, meet with current and prospective donors to discuss their giving strategy
• Oversee stewardship of donors, including thank you calls and acknowledgement letters/note
• Development of an Alumni Association Meeting
Enrollment
• Contribute in the Enrollment Management team
• Prepare and present reports to the enrollment management team on strategies and tactics to increase enrollment
• Contact prospective families and track results
• Meet regularly with Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools Marketing Consultant
• Maintain school website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and track statistics information
• Document school activities and events with pictures and videos
• Establish and implement creative ideas to better market the school and keep in contact with prospective families
• Establish and implement creative ideas and communications to retain current families
Desired Skills and Requirements
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English (Required)
• Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail is a must
• Experience in Development and Marketing with an emphasis on Development
• A strong commitment to and understanding of the mission of Catholic education
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment and work individually
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher

The Diocese of Grand Rapids Office of Catholic Schools is seeking a full-time Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology Integration to supervise the instructional programs, curriculums and assessments for the Diocese of Grand Rapids Catholic Schools, grades pre-K-12, along with the management of instructional resources and other designated general administration duties.
The Assistant Superintendent will develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate diocesan curriculum as well as coordinate Professional Development programs. The position will work closely and maintain liaison with constituent districts and local, state and federal educational agencies providing necessary information for the proper development of plans and programs relative to curriculum, instruction, technology integration, accreditation and Title programs. Other responsibilities include coordinating the process of curriculum updates, the integration of Catholic faith throughout the curriculum, and the selection of instructional materials, programs and other electronic instructional media in cooperation with building principals and faculty. Work with principals in the development and coordination of after school and summer school academic support programs, and coordinate accreditation training, reporting, site visits and compliance among diocesan schools.
