Description:
The CRE will direct and coordinate an established Saturday religious education program. This includes a two year program for First Communion and Confirmation as well as RCIA and some parent education programs. This person will recruit, train, supervise catechists, support staff and volunteers. Reports directly to the Pastor. Requirements:
Religious Education Certification or related field is preferred along with experience in parish religious education. A collaborative approach and good communication skills with parish staff is required. Bi-lingual (English- Spanish) both spoken and written. Good computer skills are also necessary. Candidates with undergraduate degree will be considered based on background and experience.
