Description:
Assures the proper and optimal functioning of the parish buildings. Performs landscaping activities, the maintenance of the sidewalks and parking areas, and the snow removal. Dusts, empties trash, washes walls, windows, and doors, sets up for activities. Cleans and maintains hard and soft surface floors. Mops, strips, waxes floors, vacuums. Cleans, sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms and other common areas. Observes and reports needed repair of equipment, furnishings, fixtures, building and site. Orders and replenishes custodial and maintenance supplies. Performs maintenance service and small repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, plastering, or electrical.
Requirements:
Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to communicate and follow written and oral communication in English. Ability to demonstrate recognition of equipment malfunction. Ability to work cooperatively and willingness to accept instructions and training. Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb to high and difficult places.
