Description:
Vibrant 1500+ family parish on Chicago’s North Shore. Passion for excellence in liturgical music of varying styles. Lead our congregation in song and prayer with inspirational playing of our 29-rank Casavant organ and our 7 foot Mason & Hamlin piano. Collaborate with school, religious education and other music ministers to enhance music ministry. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in the music ministry for a Roman Catholic church and at least a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in music and/or liturgy. Preferred start date: August 1, 2016. Compensation in accordance with the Archdiocese of Chicago guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in music and/or liturgy Excellent organ and piano playing skills Conducting ability Minimum 5 years in music ministry at Roman Catholic Parish
