Description:
Along with our Associate Pastor and Pastor, the Pastoral Associate is a generalist on the Pastoral Team with specific responsibilities and over-sight for the Human Concerns Commission and Young Adult community. THe Human Concerns commission includes St. Vincent De Paul, our three "Holy Day" dinners, our outreach to our Common Food Pantry, Health Committee, Ministers of Care, Respect Life, Sharing Parish and CRS/Catholic Charities/CCHD coordinator. Along with our Director of Music Ministry and Director of Catechesis, the Pastoral Associate supports all five of our parish Commissions and the activities of each. We are thrilled to welcome a new member of our team and anxious that the successful candidate would find in this parish a vibrant, dynamic parish on the North Side of Chcicago. Requirements:
Masters degree in Theology and some experience working with a pastoral team. Successful candidate has desire to work in a large city parish with an extensive educational mission. Further, the successful candidate would pastor the Human Concerns, along with our Coordinator of Ministers of Care. And finally, this position pastors our out reach to our young adult population.
